One year. One hundred burgers. A quest that started out as a hobby, became an obsession, and has slowly transformed into a lifestyle. How much burger is too much burger? If there is such a thing, we'll let you know.

(Perry) Street Smart

The Meat: Char-Grilled
The Cheese: Choice of Cheese
The Bun: Traditional sesame seed burger bun

Jean-Georges could make car tires appetizing-- so of course his Perry Street cheeseburger does not disappoint.

It manages to maintain all of the elements of the traditional American cheeseburger (fast food fries, an onion ring, sesame seed bun) – while at the same time, remaining relatively light. It satisfies but doesn't leave you kneeling over in the all too familiar burger coma. It crunches but doesn't crumble. It's composed of quality ingredients, but come on, it's no salad.

If you are questioning whether the Perry Street burger is too good to be true, it really is just that well-conceived.
